Director of Sales
A fast-growing technology company specializing in AI-powered digital transformation solutions for network infrastructure is expanding its presence across Europe and is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to drive growth within the telecommunications sector.
This is a strategic individual contributor role focused on developing and expanding relationships with major telecom operators, tower companies, and infrastructure providers across the region.
The successful candidate will own the full sales cycle, working closely with customers to understand business challenges and deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency, network visibility, and asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the complete enterprise sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close
- Develop and execute a territory strategy focused on telecom operators, infrastructure providers, and tower companies
- Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities across the European telecom market
- Build trusted relationships with senior business and technical stakeholders
- Conduct consultative sales engagements focused on solving complex customer challenges
- Consistently meet and exceed annual revenue targets
- Work closely with Marketing to maximize campaign effectiveness and pipeline generation
- Collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to ensure customer needs are reflected in future product development
- Leverage modern AI-driven sales tools to improve prospecting, account intelligence, and sales effectiveness
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility through CRM platforms

What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a strong hunter mentality
- Proven track record of generating and closing complex enterprise deals
- Recent experience selling into the telecommunications industry is essential
- Experience selling to Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), telecom infrastructure providers, and/or tower companies
- Established network of telecom industry contacts across Europe
- Strong consultative and value-based selling capabilities
- Experience managing high-touch enterprise sales cycles
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience utilizing AI-powered sales tools and CRM platforms
- Self-starter with a proactive, results-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling innovative technology solutions involving AI, analytics, automation, digital infrastructure, or enterprise software
- Familiarity with modern account intelligence and sales enablement platforms
- Fluency in English is required
- Additional fluency in French or Italian is required
