Sales Director
SALES LEADER – PUBLIC SECTOR (SAAS) – North West
SHARES + PROGRESSION TO CRO OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to: Chief Revenue Officer
Overview
We are working with a high-growth SaaS organisation operating within the public sector, delivering mission-critical AI-Driven Behavioural Automation solutions.
- The business has scaled rapidly and is entering an exciting new growth phase.
- Significant expansion plans underway.
- No debt; cashflow positive; self-investing.
The Opportunity
This leadership role drives net-new revenue growth through a high-performing sales team.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with leadership team to deliver business success and support team development.
- Lead and develop a new business sales team.
- Implement innovative go-to-market strategies.
- Drive improvements in:
- Sales efficiency.
- Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
- Conduct deal reviews and mentor team members.
- Recruit and scale the team across 2 current heads, then stagnation for 4 years.
- Influence broader commercial strategy.

You
To thrive in this role, you must have:
- Proven leadership experience within SaaS sales, specifically in the public sector.
- North West England regional availability.
- Demonstrable track record of driving net-new revenue growth through teams.
- Ambitious, driven, with fresh ideas for modernising sales techniques.
- Strong strategic mindset capable of improving go-to-market execution.
- Aspiration towards broader business leadership roles in future.

Package
- Base salary: £110,000 (flexible)
- OTE (on-target earnings): £165,000 (uncapped)
- Equity included
