Summary

The Sales & Education Executive is accountable for the overall performance of their business area and is responsible for managing the commercial performance through driving instore sales, education & events.

They are accountable for achieving this by:

Responsibilities

Education

  • Plan & execute in-store training, implement & translate training materials in your region
  • Upskill beauty advisors in sales and artistry techniques
  • Lead & plan large scale trainings in your region including classroom & convention style
  • Build strong relationships with HQ training teams
  • Support & train BA’s prior & during all animations to deliver maximum ROI
  • Support PR masterclasses
  • Manage and control product incentives with the retailers for the in-store personnel and training kits for retailer HQ

Sales

  • Lead by example by driving sales on shop floor & delivering exceptional customer service
  • Report stock & tester issues
  • Ensure gondola hygiene standards are at a high level at all times
  • Feedback on trends in the market & providing key sales opportunities for events & activities
  • Build strong relationships with floor managers & store directors to maximize the brands exposure
  • Support instore trade animations in relevant stores
  • Deliver consumer masterclasses

Reporting & admin

  • Work closely with your manager to schedule calendar and strategize sales & education opportunities
  • Manage the recruitment, scheduling, training & reporting for agency staff
  • Evaluate sales & training programs and share feedback with relevant stakeholders
  • To report/ log all store visits and sales & training successes with line manager and provide feedback to relevant internal & external departments

Travel & expenses

  • This role will require up to 80% of travel across all of UK & IRE. Please refer to mock up schedule
  • This role may require travel to other EU countries for high level events
  • Support EU trainings requested by Director of Global Education
  • Work within company expense budgets, schedule travel per call cycle, adhering to established guidelines and procedures

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in beauty & retail sales
  • Experience in training/ education in store, classroom and large scale conventions
  • Experience in SEPHORA & Boots preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication in English, organizational and time-management skills
  • Confident and experienced in public speaking in large groups of up to but not limited to 150 people
  • Candidates must be results-oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • This position requires up to 80% travel and you will be in store 4 days a week with one admin day (Monday)
  • Demonstrate ability to utilize Microsoft Office proficiently
