We are currently seeking a Portfolio Developer to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative environment. In this role, you will play a key role in defining, managing, and promoting the portfolio of hardware/software products, ensuring they align with strategic business goals, market demands, and technical feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
Product Portfolio & Strategy Development
- Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Sales to define the product roadmap and portfolio strategy aligned with market trends and company objectives.
- Conduct marketing and technical requirements analyses to identify product gaps, opportunities, and competitive advantages.
- Develop portfolio allocation frameworks to optimize investments and resource distribution across products.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence
- Work closely with senior leadership, product managers, development teams, and external partners to ensure a cohesive approach to portfolio strategy.
- Present portfolio insights, develop recommendations, and pitch ideas to decision-makers.
- Act as a liaison between technical and business units, fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Technical & Business Impact
- Monitor market developments and customer feedback to adapt product positioning and go-to-market tactics.
- Evaluate product life-cycle phases and recommend discontinutions, mergers, or acquisitions of existing products.
- Lead portfolio optimization initiatives, identifying high-potential products while phasing out underperforming ones.
- Track and analyze portfolio performance metrics, such as market share, revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Tools & Methodologies
- Leverage product lifecycle management (PLM) tools (e.g., Jive, PTC Windchill, or similar).
- Use data analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, Excel advanced functions, or BI tools like Tableau) to assess portfolio viability.
- Lead user experience (UX) and market validation studies to prioritize product development initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant industry experience is preferred.
- 3–5+ years of professional experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, or Market Analysis, preferably in the automotive, tech, or electronics sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of embedded systems, semiconductor design, automotive electronics, or software development is a significant plus.
- Exceptional analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience with stakeholder management with expertise in building relationships across departments.
- ** Excellent communication and presentation skills**, with the ability to influence and guide strategic decision-making.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and an understanding of product roadmap development.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is a strong advantage in the Orleans area.
- Experience working in a global, fast-paced environment with a focus on innovation.
