Sales Engineer
External Sales Engineer β Process Pumps π Staffordshire or Shropshire | π Field Based
Are you a pump specialist who loves being in front of customers as much as you love the technical side?
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and sole UK distributor of a premium European process pump range β covering:
- Vacuum
- Side channel
- Hot oil
- Diaphragm
- Multistage pumps
They're growing and need an experienced External Sales Engineer to develop and manage a UK territory.
The Role
You'll be the face of the business on the road β building relationships, identifying new opportunities, supporting customers technically, and driving sales across:
- Process
- Industrial
- OEM markets

What Youβll Be Doing
- Managing and growing a UK sales territory
- Visiting customer sites, planning your own diary, and owning your patch
- Promoting new pump sales, repairs, and aftermarket services
- Identifying new prospects and following through on enquiries and quotations
- Working closely with the Sales Manager and keeping the CRM updated
What Weβre Looking For
- Background in pumps, including:
- Vacuum
- Centrifugal
- Diaphragm
- Multistage
- Technical confidence with the ability to hold meaningful conversations with engineers and buyers
- Previous field sales experience preferred
- Engineering qualification advantageous
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and happy working in the field
- Full UK driving licence essential
