Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Product Specialist
Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Product Specialist required for a company who provide precision measurement and metrology products to a wide range of industries including Aerospace, Medical, Automotive and Advanced Manufacturing.
The Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Product Specialist will be responsible for meeting clients across the UK and presenting a range of new and existing metrology products including CMMs, vision systems and precision microscopes. You will develop new business opportunities across multiple sectors and manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through to closing the sale.
The Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Product Specialist will ideally live within a commutable distance of Market Harborough.
The Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Product Specialist will ideally have a technical background in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing or Optical Engineering, and prior experience selling technical products such as metrology equipment, precision measurement systems, CNC cutting tools, machine tools or other capital equipment although full product training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Meet clients across the UK to present precision measurement and metrology products including CMMs, vision systems and precision microscopes
- Develop new business opportunities across a wide range of industries including Aerospace, Medical and Automotive
- Manage the full sales pipeline through a CRM system from lead generation through to closing sales
- Demonstrate and present technical metrology equipment and provide tailored solutions to customers
- Regularly liaise with the internal sales and applications teams to support customer requirements
- Produce detailed sales reports and pipeline updates

Requirements:
- Technical background in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing or Optical Engineering
- Experience selling technical products such as metrology equipment, precision measurement systems, CNC tooling, machine tools or capital equipment
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK to meet customers
