# The Role: Solution Engineer (Enterprise)
You’ll be the **technical and domain expert** driving **high-value enterprise SaaS sales** for **Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)** and **Project Portfolio Management (PPM)** solutions. Working closely alongside your **Sales team**, you’ll **discover customer challenges**, craft compelling narratives, and deliver impactful demonstrations that accelerate deals toward close.

## **Core Responsibilities**

### **Enterprise Pre-Sales Execution**
- Partner with **Enterprise Sales leadership** to define **technical win strategies** for **large, complex opportunities**
- Lead **solution discovery workshops** to unpack customer **pain points**, goals, and **success metrics**
- Deliver **customized product demos**, **technical architecture deep dives**, and **proof-of-value workshops**
- Translate **business challenges** into **solution-based storytelling**, rooted in ROI and quantifiable outcomes
- Champion **consistent messaging** across critical areas: **strategy alignment, financial governance, capacity planning, and execution management**
- Facilitate **smooth transitions** from pre-sales into post-sales operations, including **Customer Success** and **Professional Services**

Technical & Domain Authority

  • Be the go-to expert in enterprise SaaS PPM/SPM, covering: portfolio financials, resource planning, capacity forecasting, and delivery best practices
  • Guide Microsoft partnerships by integrating our solution with:
    • Core tools (Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Microsoft Teams)
    • Enterprise platforms (Jira, ServiceNow)
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of:
    • OnePlan’s core architecture, integrations, roadmap, and capabilities
    • Competitive positioning in the SPM/PPM ecosystem
  • Drive solution consistency and technical validation across enterprise deals

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to create a cohesive customer journey
  • Partner with Product Management to channel structured sales insights and influence product roadmaps
  • Contribute to go-to-market initiatives:
    • Demo standardisation
    • Competitive positioning refinements
  • Speak at webinars, customer events, or executive briefings as needed

Your Profile

Minimum Qualifications

Expected to bring:

  • 5+ years in enterprise SaaS, with experience in:
    • Solution Engineering
    • Technical Pre-Sales
    • SaaS Deployment Projects
  • Strong domain expertise in:
    • Project/Portfolio/Strategy Management (PPM, SPM, EPM)
    • Agile at Scale
    • Enterprise work management frameworks
  • Record of successfully closing multi-million-dollar deals with:
    • Amy stakeholders groups (executive/functionalματική leader cross-functionalities)
    • Complex technology ecosystems
  • Ability to translate engineering concepts into business strategy (directly impactful on P&L and KPIs)
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to earn trust, persuade, and execute as a trusted advisor
  • Chartered or experienced professional designation (if possible, Chartered PM/PMI/PPMP/AgileFLP etc.)
