Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer | Remote with frequent travel | £50,000 - £70,000

Travel Requirement: 40–60% within the UK

Role Overview

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing customer relationships across the UK market. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to deliver tailored airflow solutions and support strategic business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies within the assigned UK territory
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Promote advanced airflow solutions using technical and commercial expertise
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director to support growth initiatives

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers
  • Conduct regular onsite visits and act as a trusted technical advisor

Quoting & Sales Support

  • Manage the full quotation process, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
  • Document pricing structures, agreements, and market insights
  • Prepare sales forecasts and support market analysis

Performance & Targets

  • Achieve or exceed annual sales targets (revenue, margin, pipeline)
  • Contribute to strategic planning and business growth

Technical Support & Problem Solving

  • Provide hands-on technical support to customers

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or account management
  • Industry experience in Off-Highway, HVAC&R, fan systems, or OEM sectors (preferred)
