Job Title: Maritime SaaS Sales Engineer
Location: Norwich or Bristol
The Opportunity
A market-leading maritime technology business is investing heavily in the growth of its IoT and SaaS portfolio, creating an opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to play a key role in the next stage of expansion.
Operating at the intersection of maritime operations, connectivity and data intelligence, the business delivers advanced remote monitoring and performance solutions that help vessel operators improve efficiency, reduce downtime and make better operational decisions.
This is not a role for someone who simply manages accounts. It is an opportunity to build market presence, win strategic customers and influence the growth trajectory of a technology platform with significant untapped potential across shipping, ports, offshore and energy markets.
The Impact You Will Have
- Drive new revenue generation across maritime SaaS and data analytics solutions throughout the EMEA region.
- Build relationships with senior technical and commercial stakeholders, positioning solutions that deliver measurable operational value.
- Shape market expansion by identifying new opportunities, sectors and customer applications.
- Influence product direction through direct engagement with customers and internal engineering teams.
- Become a recognised industry voice within the rapidly growing maritime digitalisation space.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
