Sales Engineer - Cybersecurity

About the Company
On behalf of our client - a fast-growing, venture-backed startup closing the SSPM gap and redefining SaaS security - we're looking for a driven Sales Engineer to be the technical backbone of the sales team. This is a ground-floor opportunity at a category-defining company with a differentiated product, a razor-sharp ICP, and a rapidly expanding market as enterprises scramble to gain visibility and control over their SaaS estates.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Engineer to join the UK team. This role will partner closely with Account Executives and GTM teams to deliver technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The Sales Engineer will play a critical role in articulating product value, demonstrating technical capabilities, and guiding customers on their journey to adopt SSPM and SaaS security solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
