Position Summary

Everfox is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive success in the UK, NATO, and EMEA markets. This role requires a subject matter expert with deep technical knowledge of Everfox’s ultra-secure solutions, capable of providing pre-sales support for government and defense clients. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives (AEs) to pioneer sales of innovative security and analytics solutions, including:

  • Insider threat
  • Data protection
  • Cloud security
  • Cross-domain solutions

Your primary focus will be customer-facing, including:

  • Conducting customer pilots and technical evaluations
  • Delivering business-focused demonstrations of Everfox’s on-premises and cloud security products
  • Consulting with business leaders to translate challenges into technically feasible, proportional solutions

As a remote-first role, you must be self-starter, collaborative, and adept at balancing complex technical concerns with commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Positioning & Alignment: Work directly with prospective customers to define project requirements and position Everfox’s security solutions for success.
  • Technical Sales Pipeline: Lead end-to-end from initial discovery through proof-of-concept delivery and proposal development.
  • Technical Presentations:conduct compelling product demos and pilot programs, addressing functional and technical objections.
  • Field Support: Incorporate Everfox security tools to generate actionable insights, coordinating between clients and engineering teams to ensure successful pilot execution.
  • Sales Enablement: Produce high-quality materials, respond swiftly to RFI/RFP inquiries, and advise on sales strategies.
  • Market Engagement: Participate in events and trade conferences to support GTM (Go-To-Market) initiatives.

Technical Knowledge & Skills Required

Required Technologies & Experience

  • Cybersecurity Solutions:
    • Internet security, anti-malware, and proxy technologies
    • SIEM, Cloud, and virtualized environments
    • Secure data transfer and access solutions
  • Operating Systems/Networking:
    • Windows, Linux, VMware, KVM, Hyper-V
  • Cloud Platforms:
    • AWS and Microsoft Azure expertise

Security & Governance

  • Demonstrated proficiency in insider threat detection, data protection, and information security frameworks.
  • UK Security Clearance (SC) preferred; able to obtain requires (applicants must meet Eligibility criteria).

Sales & Relationship Skills

  • Track record of pre-sales engineering (ideally in defense or government sectors).
  • Demonstrable ability to consult with diverse stakeholders—combining technical depth with business empathy.
  • Mastery of RFI/RFP processes and strategies.
  • Exceptional verbal/presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Competitive Total On-Target Earnings (OTE) ranging from £86,300–126,900 GBP*(varies by experience location, and business needs)*.
