The Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Air Solutions team as Sales Engineer. Our Air Solutions team is responsible for helping to develop and grow the UK Air Solutions business in line with LG’s strategies and objectives.
As Sales Engineer you will be responsible for all technical support of the air to water heat pump products to resolve complex operations issues. You will commission heating systems in line with company procedures and project manage heating installations.

Your Role & Responsibilities Have an intimate knowledge of heating products and a complete understanding of the technology Commission heating systems in line with company procedures Onsite technical support to resolve complex operational issues and project management of heating installations Carry out technical training on LG heating systems Participate in the technical helpdesk to support Installers and Service Engineers Assist with identification of spare parts/ parts ordering for direct customers and distribution Provide warranty support for all products Support the Application and Sales Engineers with heating designs Continuously promote LG Air Solutions products and services Support the customer base as necessary with queries of any nature and liaising with the relevant internal department to come to a resolution Maintain and service sales agreements with targeted customers and to achieve set and agreed KPIs Liaise with other teams within the division to resolve heating related issues, to assist in new product introduction and end of life management
Skills, Education & Experience Solid experience in the Heating Heat Pump or AC market, preferably gained from a reputable manufacturer. Engineering or other relevant technical based qualifications are desirable Good understanding of all relevant legislations and government grants Has technical and product awareness Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience of working within a performance management environment – KPIs and Service Level Agreements Able to be flexible and develop quality, customer-focused targets and service Completer finisher, able to be resilient to drive issues through to a successful customer-focused solution Highly focused and capable of sustaining a fast pace in a dynamic environment Good judgement, able to make practical and realistic decisions within scope of responsibility Proven commercial acumen and ability to achieve commercial objectives Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel
