About the Role
For over 50 years, Camfil has been helping people breathe cleaner air as a leading manufacturer of premium clean air solutions. Our commercial and industrial systems for air filtration and pollution control enhance worker and equipment productivity, minimise energy use, and promote human health and environmental sustainability.
Camfil UK has two production sites in Lancashire and Kent, with a global workforce of over 5,000 and headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.
We are now seeking an ambitious and solutions-focused Sales Engineer who excels in building relationships, generating business, and delivering technical value to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- New business generation: Identify and pursue B2B sales opportunities across the UK, leveraging cross-selling potential across all Camfil markets.
- Customer visits & site surveys: Assess and interpret customer requirements, conducting site evaluations to tailor solutions.
- Sales negotiation & closure: Secure deals by agreeing commercial frameworks and delivering tailored technical proposals.
- After-sales support: Provide service continuity and technical assistance post-sale.
- Technical presentations: Demonstrate and explain Camfil solutions to meet client specifications.
- Pre-sales technical support: Offer consulting, education, and product expertise before key sales decisions are made.
- Outbound lead generation: Prospect and qualify leads for business development.
- CRM utilisation: Utilise a fully integrated CRM system to streamline the sales process.

Requirements
In candidates, we are seeking:
- Industrial sales background (desirable).
- Experience with dust extraction or cleanroom processes.
- A business/technical mindset – ability to sell tailored solutions, analyze needs, and present technical packages effectively.
- Strong consulting skills – building and maintaining long-term business relationships at customer sites.
- Confidence in digital engagement – experienced in using LinkedIn, X, and other social media platforms.
- Full UK driving licence (essential for site visits and travel).
- Flexibility & resilience – willingness to work a variable schedule, including occasional overnight travel.
- Commitment to upskilling – full training will be provided.
