The Role
iVerify is seeking a Sales Engineer (EMEA) to spearhead our region’s technical go-to-market strategy. You’ll collaborate closely with Account Executives to drive enterprise technical wins across cybersecurity, government, and financial services. This role bridges the gap between technical expertise and high-touch customer engagement, ensuring potential customers see iVerify as both a credible solution as well as an expert in the evolving mobile threat landscape.
Primary Focus Areas:
- Paradigm-shifting the way end-users, architects, and CISOs perceive mobile security.
- Guiding technical decision-makers through POCs, proofs-of-concept, and tailored demos.
- Anticipating and closing gaps in blind spots through relentless self-directed learning.
You will have a direct voice in product direction, influenced by real-world customer feedback to build a revolutionary platform.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Engagement & Sales Excellence
- Lead discovery, technical scoping, and POC execution, delivering tailored demos across enterprise and public sector customers.
- Proactively diagnose and overcome expertise gaps, mastering intricacies of iVerify’s mobile threat responses and proactively interceptingRIP concerns.
- Own the technical responses to formal requests:
- RFPs (Request for Proposals)
- RFIs (Request for Information)
- Security compliance questionnaires
- Provide hands-on support for customer deployment, configuration, and integration, acting as the escalation path for technical inquiries.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to gather field intelligence, shaping our evolving roadmap.
- Maintain meticulous technical documentation:
- Integration guides
- Deployment references
- Customer-facing FAQs and knowledge bases

Regulatory Compliance & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Engage with EU regulatory frameworks as they directly apply to mobile security:
- NIS2 (Network and Information Systems Directive)
- GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring seamless adoption across telecommunication and financial service providers.
Travel & Engagement Requirements
- Regular travel within EMEA for:
- Onsite meetings with customers and partners.
- Workshops and events to foster deeper client relationships.
Key Competencies & Requirements
A+ Mobile & MDM Expertise (Priory/Sterling) Critical skills
- Hands-on experience with Intune, Jamf, Workspace ONE, and similar MDM platforms.
- Deep understanding of:
- Apple/Android mobile supervision
- Enrollment methods: ADE (Apple Deployment Program), DEP (Device Enrollment Program), Android Enterprise.
- Ownership modes (Corporate-Owned vs. BYOD).
- Working knowledge of:
- Compliance policies and conditional access.
- BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) architecture models.
Mobile Cybersecurity Fundamentals (Deeply Mastered)
- Solid mastery of the mobile threat landscape:
- Malware & app risks
- Smishing/scam tactics
- Spyware/zero-click vulnerabilities
- Advanced zero-download attacks
- Ability to credibly negotiate mobile security priorities within the wider enterprise security stack:
- SIEM (Security Information & Event Manager)
- XDR (Extended Detection & Response)
- SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation & Response)
- Identity management systems

Smooth Sales Engineer SKills (Soft & Hard)
- 3+ years as a Sales Engineer/Solutions Engineer at a security or enterprise software company, with a notable track record of driving complex technical sales cycles.
- Exceptional technical writing abilities:
- Composing clear, persuasive RFPs.
- Authoring technical guides and integration resources.
- Executive presence with a versatile communication style – confident speaking on-stage or presenting to:
- CISOs
- SOC leads
- Technical architects
Travel & Stationary Requirements
- Based in Northern Ireland, UK, or Europe (work visa eligibility required).
- Fluent in English (essential for communication across EMEA).
- Regular in-person presence expected:
- If in Belfast, once-weekly in-office attendance.
Preferred (Nice-To-Have) Skills
- Experience with competitor platforms:
- Zimperium
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (mobile) variants
- Lookout for Enterprise
- Zscaler MTD (Mobile Threat Defense)
- Previous engagement with NIS2, GDPR, or DORA in sales or advisory professions.
- Customer stories within cybersecurity, government, defense, or financial services, particularly in EMEA.
Rewarding Benefits (Compensation & Culture)
Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is 100-110k GBP.
