As a (Senior) Solutions Engineer
You will be a key technical & business partner to the Sales Team for enterprise accounts, responsible for demonstrating the value of our software solutions to prospective and existing customers. You will collaborate closely with sales, product, and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that address the unique challenges of our customers' IT environments.
Responsibilities
Technical Expertise & Demonstrations
- Become a subject matter expert on TeamViewer’s IT and DEX product portfolio.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations, workshops, and webinars tailored to customer pain points.
- Articulate the technical and business value of our solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Discovery & Solution Design
- Conduct detailed discovery sessions to understand customer challenges and objectives.
- Design and propose customized solutions that align with customer needs and leverage TeamViewer’s capabilities.
- Develop solution proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and technical documentation.
Proof of Value (POV/POC) & Pilot Management
- Lead POV/POC and pilot engagements to validate solution effectiveness in customer environments.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and support throughout the validation process.
- Analyze results and deliver actionable recommendations.

Sales Enablement & Collaboration
- Partner with sales teams throughout the sales cycle, providing technical expertise and support.
- Respond to RFx documents with accurate and compelling technical responses.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Thought Leadership & Market Awareness
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to influence product roadmap and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or enterprise IT consulting.
- Deep understanding of enterprise IT environments, including endpoint management, remote connectivity, and DEX platforms.
- Experience with SaaS applications such as RMM, ITSM, Asset Management, and Observability tools.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, scripting, virtualization, cloud computing, and security protocols.
- Proven ability to engage with C-level stakeholders and translate complex technical concepts into business value.
- Strong presentation, communication, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills – you excel at building trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels, from IT professionals to C-level executives. You’re confident presenting complex solutions in a clear, compelling way.
- Strong technical acumen – you have deep knowledge of enterprise systems management, modern device management, and end-user computing. You understand the challenges of large, complex IT environments and can speak the language of enterprise IT fluently.
- Collaborative mindset with independent drive – you thrive both as a self-starter and as a team player. You know how to work effectively with sales professionals and cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Professional presence and attention to detail – you bring a polished, reliable approach to every customer interaction, ensuring high-quality outcomes and experiences.
