We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Engineer to strengthen our team in the Southern region of England, ideally based along the M4 corridor (e.g. Reading, Swindon, Bristol area).

This is a dynamic, customer-facing role combining technical expertise and commercial acumen, focused on delivering liquid storage, pumping and filtration solutions across a wide range of industries.

Tasks

  • Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing customers
  • Promote solutions across industries such as water treatment, petrochemical production, refining, construction and environmental remediation
  • Analyse and communicate market trends, opportunities and risks to management, including actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with operations and internal teams to exceed customer expectations
  • Provide inside sales support and actively support the promotion of safety-related products
  • Plan and execute marketing activities, including online campaigns, social media and editorial content
  • Prepare presentations, reports and internal communications
  • Support and participate in trade shows, exhibitions and industry conferences from planning through execution
  • Oversee the local depot, including material checks, quality assurance and status monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with statutory Health & Safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and operational activities
  • Support additional day-to-day business activities as required

Requirements

  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Engineering, or a technical related field
  • Engineering background strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in the pump industry and/or industrial cleaning sector
  • Demonstrated track record in sales
  • Experience in customer support (B2B and B2C)
  • Strong market knowledge within relevant industries
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships
  • Proactive and hands-on mindset
  • Open to new systems, tools and ideas
  • Strong time management and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently and accurately
  • Fluent in English, additional languages is a plus
