About the Role

An exciting Account Manager opportunity has opened for a talented, technology-savvy professional covering Scotland & the Northwest. The role involves selling technologically advanced and commercially beneficial solutions to existing and new clients across small to medium enterprises (SMEs) to blue-chip companies in the automation and control sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop sales in a designated territory, servicing an existing customer base of ~70 accounts with an annual spend of £2M+.
  • Design and implement strategic sales approaches, utilising the best available resources for exceptional customer service.
  • Identify new sales opportunities by:
    • Following up on marketing leads.
    • Leveraging networking and local expertise.
  • Commit to regular customer visits (minimum 4 days per week).

Essential

  • Proven track record in new business development.
  • Basic interest in engineering or technology (permanent damage files optional if eager to learn!).
  • Valid driving licence.

Preferred

  • Preferable experience in Control & Automation solutions, or other technical sales domains (Full training provisioned).
  • Demonstrated ability to work remotely.

Compensation & Benefits

£40,000 base salary + £10,000 on-target earnings (OTE), plus company car or allowance.
