Sales Engineer
Our client specialises in injection moulding and tooling solutions for the Medical, Industrial and Consumer Products industries in the UK. Employing 60 staff across its sites in the UK and China, they work closely with design consultancies to deliver bespoke new products from concept to manufacture. They now seek to recruit a highly motivated individual in the North East who is looking to build a career as a Sales Engineer within the manufacturing/engineering sector.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with a third-party lead generation company to nurture profitable commercial relationships with design consultancies and medium-sized OEMs
- Communicating with UK clients and prospects over the phone, via Teams and in person
- Delivering presentations and negotiating sales
- Managing a selection of key customer accounts
- Obtaining all relevant project and commercial information
- Supporting with the preparation of quotations and the delivery of after-sales support
- Working closely with the technical projects and production teams to meet customer requirements

As Sales Engineer you will need:
- A strong desire to work in a sales capacity in the Engineering/Manufacturing sector
- Preferably a knowledge of or interest in injection moulding and/or product development
- A positive, professional customer-facing attitude
- A consultative selling style
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence

- Salary: £37-47k pa
