The Sales & Events Executive plays a pivotal role in the successful planning and coordination of an internal event programme, acting as the primary sales and planning contact from enquiry through to operational handover.
Working closely with the internal team, this role is responsible for managing the full planning journey for repeat events including lunches, member gatherings, ticketed functions, committee meetings, and other internal activities, ensuring a consistently high standard of service and building trusted relationships with key stakeholders.

Alongside this, the role also supports the conversion and planning of smaller external enquiries, while working collaboratively with the Sales & Events Manager, who leads on new corporate business development and wider relationship management.
This is a highly organised, relationship-led role suited to someone who enjoys managing multiple events simultaneously, thrives on attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary planning contact for the organisation’s internal event programme.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and administrative teams.
- Manage repeat internal events from enquiry through to operational handover, including lunches, member functions, ticketed events, and committee meetings.
- Respond promptly to new enquiries, qualifying opportunities, and managing client communications.
- Prepare accurate proposals, quotations, and contracts, ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Conduct venue show-arounds and planning meetings where appropriate.
- Produce detailed function sheets and ensure all event information is accurately communicated to operational and culinary teams via the CRM system.
- Attend events where appropriate to provide a professional client meet-and-greet before handing over to the Operations Manager.
- Work collaboratively with the Sales & Events Manager to ensure a seamless client journey.

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within hospitality, venue, or events coordination is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional client experiences.
