Venue Sales & Events Manager – Easter Road Stadium (Elior Stadia)
Eastern Scotland
About the Role
Easter Road Stadium is one of Edinburgh’s most iconic venues, hosting a variety of events including conferences, corporate meetings, private celebrations, exhibitions, and matchday hospitality. We are seeking a commercially driven Venue Sales & Events Manager who thrives on winning new business and managing the client journey from initial enquiry to confirmed event.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in:
- Stadiums
- Hotels
- Conference venues
- Visitor attractions
- Events-led hospitality environments
The position blends sales expertise with operational coordination, ensuring seamless event execution while driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:

Business Development
- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, private, charity, and community markets.
- Grow conference, events, and hospitality revenue at Easter Road Stadium.

Client Relationships
- Manage leads, enquiries, and contracts from start to finish.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, and stakeholders.
- Represent the venue at industry networking events and trade shows.

Sales & Administrative Duties
- Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Maintain accurate CRM, sales forecasts, and event documentation.
- Collaborate with operations and catering teams for smooth event execution.

Commercial & Growth Targets
- Achieve and exceed sales, revenue, and activity targets.
- Monitor market trends to attract new clients and maximise occupancy.
Working Pattern:
- Monday – Friday (37.5 hours/week)
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in selling conferences, events, hospitality, or venue space, ideally in a stadium, arena, or similar environment.
- A track record of exceeding sales targets and generating new business.
- Experience managing client journeys, from initial enquiry to event handover.
- Strong administration, organisational, and CRM management skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and sales negotiation abilities.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with commercial acumen.
