Role: Sales & Events Manager - Malmaison
Salary: Up to £34,000 plus Bonus, Generous Company Benefits, Training & Development
Location: Leeds

We are on the lookout for an accomplished, proactive, and collaborative Sales & Events Manager to join our team. What you’ll be doing as Sales & Events Manager:
As Our Sales & Events Manager, Your Main Mission Is To Maximise Revenue, Achieve And Exceed Financial Targets, And Proactively Drive Catering And Food & Beverage (F&B) Sales Across All Areas Of The Property. Working Hand-in-hand With Our Cluster Sales Manager, You Will
- Drive Catering & F&B Revenue: Be the champion for our meeting spaces, private dining rooms, bars, and restaurants, actively seeking opportunities to drive food and beverage spend.
- Local Market Networking: Engage with the local community to build brand awareness, identify exciting new leisure and corporate event opportunities, and secure our fair share of the local market.
- Be Social: Support the promotion of our meetings, private events, dining, and bar offerings on local social media channels, engaging with the local community to generate brand awareness and inbound inquiries.
- Convert Enquiries into Extraordinary Events: Manage, negotiate, and seamlessly convert inquiries for meetings, private events, and weddings.
- Deliver Flawless Planning: Create crystal-clear event documentation (Function Sheets/BEOs) and collaborate closely with our on-property operational teams to ensure every event is executed to perfection.
- Build Lasting Relationships: Act as the primary, professional point of contact for clients from the initial inquiry right through to post-event feedback, securing repeat business and high levels of customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For
- You have a proven track record in hospitality sales, event coordination, or F&B business development, ideally within a boutique or luxury hotel environment.
- You are a confident negotiator with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to convert inbound leads.
- You have a strong commercial understanding of catering sales, menu upselling, and bar/restaurant revenue drivers.
- You are warm, approachable, collaborative, and self-motivated. A strong appreciation for wine, hospitality, and food-matching trends is highly valued!
- Experience using Opera Sales & Catering (or similar hotel PMS/sales systems) is a massive plus.
- Hospitality operates around the clock; you are adaptable and open to working flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evening dinner services to support major events.
