- Building and maintaining strong relationships with retailers to drive National Lottery sales and revenue for good causes
- Effective territory management – visiting each retailer 5–6 times annually for negotiations and support
- Ensuring optimal in-store execution of the lottery category by focusing on:
- Distribution
- Product availability
- Display & impact
- Retailer advocacy
- Using data/sales insights to communicate confidently with retailers about performance and contributions to good causes
About You
Essential Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
- Live within a commutable distance of the Croydon territory
- Ability to use standard IT packages with proficiency
Ideal Experience & Skills
- Previous sales or account management experience, whether in field sales or internal roles (e.g., estate agents, recruitment)
- If not from a sales background, consider:
- Retail experience, such as Trade Counter Manager
- Ability to build genuine rapport with retailers
- Solution-focused and proactive mindset
- Strong self-motivation and ability to track personal targets
