Join a Growing Business
Karntek is a growing business specialising in fire safety compliance. We work with organisations across the UK, helping them maintain safe, compliant buildings through a range of inspection, survey, and compliance services.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Sales Executive to help us build new relationships, identify opportunities and support our continued success.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, building connections and developing long-term relationships. Whether you're already working in business development or have experience in a customer-facing role and are looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Sales Executive, you'll play an important role in supporting the growth of the business by developing relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll help raise awareness of our services, identify new opportunities and contribute to our ongoing growth plans.
No two days will be the same, and you'll have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of organisations and professionals across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Identify and engage with new business opportunities across our target sectors
- Attend networking events, exhibitions and industry meetings
- Arrange and participate in client meetings and introductory discussions
- Support the preparation of proposals, presentations and business development materials
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities and activities within company systems
- Conduct market research and identify emerging opportunities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support business growth initiatives
- Promote Karntek's services in a professional and engaging manner
- Support the delivery of business development and marketing activities
- Generate your own sales pipeline through cold calling, prospecting, networking and business development activities

Requirements
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, meeting new people and contributing to business growth. This role would suit an ambitious individual who is looking to develop their skills, take on new challenges and build a rewarding long-term career within a growing business.
Essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoys building relationships and meeting new people
- Confident speaking with customers, prospects and colleagues
- Organised and able to manage their workload effectively
- Proactive and willing to take initiative
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
- Strong customer focus and professional approach
- Eager to learn, develop and contribute to the growth of the business
Desirable
- Experience in a customer-facing, sales, account management, recruitment, business development or similar role
- Experience working within construction, property, compliance, facilities management or professional services
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Experience attending networking events or representing a business externally
- An interest in fire safety, building safety or compliance services
