Sales Executive – Hybrid Role (Solihull Office + UK Travel)

A leading recruitment partner is representing a respected national contractor in the search for an ambitious Sales Executive. This is a confidential opportunity to join a market‑leading organisation specialising in high‑quality commercial surfacing solutions. The company delivers premium safety surfacing for playgrounds, sports facilities, recreational areas and public environments, supplying Local Authorities, Housing Developers, Schools, Architects and Trade Contractors across the UK.

Role Overview

The Sales Executive role offers a blend of office collaboration and field‑based autonomy. You’ll spend part of your week at the Solihull office and the remainder travelling to client sites nationwide. This hybrid structure gives you the freedom to manage your own diary while working closely with internal teams.

You will manage existing accounts, develop new business opportunities and guide customers through the full project lifecycle — from initial enquiry and site assessment to technical recommendations, quotations and final handover. Full technical training, product coaching and joint field visits are provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account development: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • New business generation: Identify and secure opportunities with developers, schools, local authorities and contractors.
  • Site visits: Attend sites across the UK to assess requirements and recommend suitable surfacing solutions.
  • Technical quotations: Prepare accurate proposals and manage orders through to completion.
  • Internal collaboration: Work with operations and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
