Overview
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Sales Executive to join our growing commercial team. This is an exciting role for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business and delivering excellent customer service with uncapped commission and OTE of 50-55k. Working alongside our experienced operations team, you'll help grow our customer base while promoting the full range of James Wilby Logistics services. Working Pattern - 8-5 or 9-6 monday to friday.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads through outbound sales activity, networking and referrals.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to account management.
- Win new haulage customers and develop long-term commercial relationships.
- Grow pallet network business by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
- Promote and cross-sell James Wilby Logistics' warehousing, recruitment and training services.
- Develop new business opportunities within the manufacturing, distribution and logistics sectors.
- Help grow the commercial side of the business through proactive business development.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Work closely with the Operations team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and customer records.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell the company's full range of services.
- Produce sales reports and market intelligence to support business growth.
- Represent James Wilby Logistics professionally at customer meetings, networking events and industry exhibitions where required.

Essential Experience
- Previous experience within a sales, customer service or account management role.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Self-motivated with a positive and proactive approach.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work towards individual and team targets.
- A willingness to learn and develop within a growing business.
- Full UK driving licence.

Desirable
- Experience within the transport, logistics or pallet network industry.
- Previous B2B sales experience.
- Experience using a CRM system.
- Knowledge of general haulage, pallet distribution or warehousing.
- Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Benefits
- OTE 50-55k.
- 20 days plus public holidays, plus one additional day for your birthday (pro rata).
- One additional holiday day awarded after the completion of the first financial year and for each subsequent year of service (capped at 31 days annual leave).
