Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Halifax.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Follow up on leads and manage a pipeline of prospects from initial contact to closing.
- Make outbound calls and conduct meetings with potential clients.
- Present fuel card solutions and prepare tailored proposals.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Provide ongoing support to new and existing customers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet individual and team sales targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine sales approaches and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in business-to-business sales, account management, or a similar commercial role, ideally within financial services, transport, or related sectors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse business customers.
- Confidence in managing a sales pipeline, working to targets, and using CRM or sales management tools.
- Solid numerical and analytical skills, able to understand pricing structures, interpret data, and discuss cost benefits clearly with clients.
- Self-motivated and organized, with strong time management and independent work skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting face-to-face and virtual meetings.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) and a willingness to learn internal systems and processes.
- Professional, customer-focused approach with a commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory business practices.
- Previous experience in fuel cards, fleet management, or related services is beneficial but not required.
- Relevant education or training in business, sales, or a related field is an advantage, though equivalent practical experience is valued.
