Sales Account Executive
Location: Paignton, Devon
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (with some flexibility)
Full-time | Permanent

Due to continued growth and expansion, Casting Support Systems is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Account Executive to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to become the first point of contact for our valued customers and support a recently secured major contract. You'll play a key role in building long-term customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and ensuring every customer receives an outstanding experience from enquiry through to delivery.

The Role
As a Sales Account Executive, you'll be responsible for managing and developing both new and existing customer accounts. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll ensure customer requirements are understood, expectations are managed, and projects progress smoothly.

This is a varied role that combines account management, customer service, sales, and internal coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, identifying opportunities to grow accounts through warm sales and account development.
- Respond to customer enquiries promptly, preparing quotations and recommending suitable products and manufacturing solutions.
- Manage the customer journey from initial enquiry through to order completion, ensuring clear communication at every stage.
- Provide accurate information on products, manufacturing capabilities, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate with customers via telephone, email, and occasional face-to-face meetings.
- Maintain accurate customer records, activities, and opportunities within our CRM system.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure orders are processed efficiently and delivered on time.
- Gather customer feedback, identify trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Escalate customer concerns or complaints where appropriate to ensure swift resolution.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and is confident identifying opportunities to add value for customers.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, account management, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience using CRM systems would be advantageous.
