Smarter Distributive Trade Sales Executive

Role Options: London Office, Hybrid


About the Role

Klipboard—previously Kerridge Commercial Systems—is transforming how distributive trade businesses source, sell, and service globally. With a flexible hybrid work policy (three days in the office, two remote), our mission is to deliver high-performance ERP/SaaS solutions for wholesalers, distributors, and multinational enterprises. You’ll help promote Klipboard’s ERP suite through consultative selling, generating new leads, and deepening client relationships with commercial focus, AI curiosity, and storytellingkáthussions. This is not your typical sales role—it’s tech-enhanced consultative selling, focused on our core relationship with the distributive trade.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Account Development
  • Generate leads and nurture a predictable pipeline, using consultative sales, discovery-led engagements, and AI-supported insights.
  • Present layered demonstrations of ERP capabilities, combining product mastery with clear solution alignment.
  • Master our tech stack: CRM, discovery tools, and AI-driven forecasting to maintain a healthier pipeline and deliver forecast accuracy monthly.
Team & Commercial Focus
  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing teams to execute territory-specific lead campaigns.
  • Coach team members, attend (and crucially present at) monthly sales meetings with data-backed forecasts.
  • Build trust by digitally and personally aligning solutions—turning consultations into high-converting closes.
  • Represent Klipboard at executive and board-level meetings in a compelling, structured manner.
  • Travel as required across territories to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Must-haves

  • Track record proving you can: Consistently hit new business targets, assessments and qualify opportunities right through the full sales cycle.
  • Strategic communicator: Board-level presentation skills with a calm, consultative delivery.
  • Highly team-oriented, fully commercially grounded, and comfortable in hybrid working contexts.
  • Driving licence & passport essential for travel support across the UK and Europe.

Dig Deeper

  • Any prior B2B sales experience in SaaS or ERP gives you a leg up—but we’ve seen success outside this niche too. Prove your adaptability.
  • Fluent in data or digital forecasting tools (CRM, AI assistants like Salesforce Einstein, or basic predictive analytics helpful).
  • Proselect KCS/Klipboard already? Those insights are diamonds—NB: No speculative agencies!”

Nice to Haves

  • Experienced in the distributive/wholesale sector (merchants, manufacturers, retail arms).
  • Arm_description the AI curiosity/journey: Already using generative or predictive tools to enhance core processes in a sales or consultative role?
  • Irish or Dutch? An advantage lending both our UK & Europe expertise overlap.
