At Allerton Bishop, we specialise in recruitment across the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry, partnering with innovative businesses across the UK and Europe to hire important professionals who develop medicines and improve healthcare.
We're building our next generation of consultants and are looking for ambitious, competitive people who want to learn, develop and be rewarded for their success.
Initially based from our Bishop's Stortford office, you'll join a structured training programme before progressing into a hybrid role with regular time spent in London.
The Opportunity
This is a sales role with purpose.
From day one, you'll receive hands-on training and mentoring from experienced recruitment professionals, developing the commercial skills to build your own market, generate new business and become a trusted adviser to clients and candidates.

- Manage executive search assignments from initial brief through to successful placement.

Who We're Looking For
We're interested in attitude, ambition and potential - previous recruitment experience is advantageous but not essential.
This role would suit someone with experience in:
- Customer Facing - Retail, Hospitality, Financial Services
- Sales - Estate agency, Telesales, Professional Services
- Business development - Outbound, B2B or B2C, Automotive
You'll also bring:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence speaking with people over the phone and in person.
- A competitive mindset and desire to achieve. A sporting background is desirable.
- Resilience, determination and a strong work ethic.
- Curiosity, coachability and a willingness to learn.
- A genuine ambition to build a successful career.
