Internal Sales Executive
Location: Buxton, Derbyshire, East Midlands
Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Monday-Friday (Onsite – not hybrid)
Hours: Either 7.30-4pm or 8-4.30pm or 8.30-5pm (flexible on hours)
Salary: Between £32k - £37k depending on experience
Project Partners are now recruiting for an experienced Sales Executive to come and join the concrete products established team in Buxton.
Role Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding orders, deliveries, product enquiries, and general account support, ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently while coordinating delivery schedules with hauliers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner, maintaining positive customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emails and telephone enquiries, providing clear communication and accurate information to customers and internal teams.
- Liaise closely with hauliers and internal departments to support effective delivery planning, minimise delays, and maintain efficient logistics operations.
- Provide administrative support to external sales managers, including preparing quotations, monitoring tender submissions, and assisting with customer follow-ups.
- Process customer returns, credits, and associated documentation in line with company procedures, ensuring all records are maintained accurately.
- Maintain and update internal systems and customer records accurately, ensuring all order, delivery, and account information is kept up to date.

Candidate Experience Required:
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise workload effectively, and work efficiently in a busy office environment.
- Customer-focused approach with a professional, positive, and solution-oriented attitude towards customer service and problem resolution.
- Self-motivated and proactive individual who can work using their own initiative while contributing effectively as part of a wider team.
- Good administrative, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work.
- Previous experience using SAP would be advantageous, although full training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Reliable and detail-oriented, with the ability to consistently meet deadlines and maintain high standards of work.
- Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities and business demands
- Specific product and industry knowledge.
- Experience of dealing with both National & Independent
