Job Title: Sales Executive (Events & Technology Solutions)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team. This remote, part-time position is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in selling events, professional training programmes, and/or technology solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and converting prospects into paying customers. Experience selling SaaS platforms, digital solutions, or enterprise technology products will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities across the UK and overseas.
  • Sell professional training programmes, conferences, webinars, and corporate events to organisations and individual professionals.
  • Promote technology platforms and SaaS solutions to businesses and enterprise clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct outbound sales activities including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and virtual meetings.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM software.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to follow up on inbound leads and campaign enquiries.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
  • Demonstrated success selling:
    • Conferences, training programmes, or corporate events; and/or
    • Technology platforms, software, or SaaS solutions.
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience selling enterprise software or subscription-based SaaS products.
  • Experience in the technology, digital transformation, cybersecurity, AI, or financial services sectors.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies such as SPIN Selling, Challenger Sales, or Solution Selling.
  • Existing professional network within UK businesses or professional associations.
