  • Welcoming and engaging customers in the showroom
  • Understanding their needs
  • Presenting suitable vehicles and services in a clear, professional manner

Daily activities include:

  • Managing customer enquiries
  • Arranging test drives
  • Preparing and explaining quotations and finance options
  • Guiding customers through the entire sales process from first contact to handover

The role involves:

  • Maintaining accurate records in dealership systems
  • Following up with prospects and existing customers
  • Working closely with colleagues and manufacturer partners to meet individual and team sales targets

The Sales Executive is also expected to uphold Marshall Motor Group’s standards of customer service, compliance, and brand presentation at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales skills in a customer-facing environment, ideally within automotive retail or a related sector.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on understanding customer needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, including confident verbal communication and clear, accurate documentation.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills to handle multiple enquiries, test drives, and follow-ups efficiently.
  • Comfort with digital tools and dealership systems, including CRM platforms, online lead management, and basic MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative and responsibility for personal sales performance.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with commitment to regulatory compliance, brand standards, and ethical selling practices.
  • Full UK driving license and eligibility to work in the United Kingdom; prior experience in the Greater Lincoln or wider UK automotive market is an advantage.
