We are looking for a confident, motivated, and target-driven Sales Officer to join our growing team.
The Role
The Sales Officer will be responsible for engaging with prospective learners, promoting suitable training programmes, and converting enquiries into confirmed enrolments.
This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who is confident on the phone, comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls, and motivated by achieving results.
Key Responsibilities
- Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective learners.
- Handle inbound enquiries and respond quickly to new leads.
- Promote Pathway Group training programmes clearly and confidently.
- Understand learner needs, goals, and circumstances.
- Convert enquiries into applications, eligibility checks, and confirmed programme starts.
- Follow up consistently by phone, email, and SMS.
- Overcome objections professionally and build strong rapport.
- Maintain accurate records on CRM systems and internal trackers.
- Achieve agreed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Work closely with enrolment, delivery, and customer engagement teams.

Person Specification
Essential
- Strong telephone and communication skills.
- Confidence making high volumes of outbound calls.
- Comfortable working towards targets.
- Strong sales, persuasion, and objection-handling skills.
- Resilient, organized, and proactive.
- Able to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Desirable
- Previous experience in sales, telesales, recruitment, education, or customer service.
- Experience working in a target-driven environment.
- Knowledge of training programmes, apprenticeships, or funded education.
