Sales Executive
Location: Wimbledon
Salary: Up to £40,000
Contract: Full Time | Permanent
About the Role:
Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for premium events, luxury hospitality, or catering equipment hire? Do you thrive on building long-term client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering commercially successful solutions?
We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director, you will play a key role in driving sustainable revenue growth across London's premium events market by developing high-value client relationships, converting profitable opportunities, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from enquiry through to event delivery.
Working closely with Customer Services, Operations, and our central Sales, Marketing and Finance teams, you will manage the full sales cycle while ensuring outstanding commercial performance, margin protection, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive profitable revenue growth through proactive business development, account management and strategic relationship building.
- Identify, target and secure new business opportunities across luxury event planners, premium caterers, venues, corporate clients and hospitality partners.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision makers, becoming a trusted commercial partner for clients.
- Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound calls, networking, referrals, email campaigns and market research.
- Convert inbound enquiries into profitable business while maintaining pricing integrity and protecting gross margins.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations and commercial solutions that meet customer requirements and company pricing guidelines.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial enquiry through negotiation, confirmation and successful handover to Operations.
- Re-engage dormant accounts and actively pursue competitor-held business to expand market share.
- Maximise revenue opportunities through upselling, cross-selling and strong product knowledge.
- Represent the business professionally during client meetings, showroom appointments, venue visits and industry networking events.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline management, forecasting and customer records using CRM systems.

About You:
You'll be a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys developing relationships, winning new business and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will have some experience working within premium events, luxury hospitality, catering equipment hire, furniture hire or a similar customer-focused environment, with a proven ability to manage the full sales cycle and consistently achieve revenue targets.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience within catering equipment hire, furniture hire, luxury event catering, hospitality or premium events.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of London's premium events market.
- Existing industry network highly desirable.
- Experience managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and contract conversion.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience preparing quotations and commercial proposals.
- Excellent lead qualification and opportunity assessment skills.
- Strong negotiation, influencing and presentation skills.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Disciplined approach to pipeline management, forecasting and follow-up activity.
