Job Title: Sales Executive / Business Development Manager
Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
General Company Overview:
Market leading, international manufacturing and supply company.
An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, for a Sales Executive / Business Development Manager in Oldham area, Greater Manchester. We’re looking for a driven and ambitious sales professional that has the desire to succeed and eventually progress to becoming a Sales Manager via the company’s structured career pathway.
Job Responsibilities:
- You are an energetic and self-motivated, entrepreneurial builder
- You can work independently with a good sense of urgency
- Together with the Sales Director, you set up a plan to develop new business
- You hunt for quality leads that are in line with the business strategy
- You identify qualified leads and listen to their needs
- You oversee expanding the reach of the company in the UK
- You take ownership of your territory
- You will be responsible for logging sales activity onto Salesforce
- You work closely with the Customer Success team to get orders processed

About you:
- You are hungry, trustworthy and present yourself professionally
- You are a born hunter that isn’t afraid of going the extra mile to make a new customer
- You have a good understanding of Microsoft Office
- You have an open mindset, and you are comfortable talking to different teams (e.g. Marketing, Customer Service, Production, etc.), especially when interpreting KPI’s and explaining reports
- You combine a strong team spirit with a healthy sense of autonomy
- You communicate fluently with your international colleagues in English

- We are looking for a driven sales person - an accomplished lead generator who will help with growth of the company.
- You have a nose for potential leads and enjoy the challenge of obtaining an appointment with the right person.
- Your greatest quality is your enthusiasm and commercial insight during outbound calling. The best way to approach and talk to someone is something you immediately understand. You also dare to be creative to get that wanted appointment.
- You seamlessly supplement telephone prospecting with reaching out via e-mail and LinkedIn.
- You are a team player and based on your sales experience, you and your colleagues optimize the strategy to approach the companies in the target group.
- Trying out new methods and challenging each other to achieve those targets, that's what energizes you.
- Together with the Sales Manager EU, you set up a plan to develop new business.
- 100% customer satisfaction is the way you want to go.
- Your administrative efficiency ensures that the CRM system is always up to date.
- You are an accomplished planner and manage your agenda as efficient as possible when you are on the road.
