Sales Executive
Sales Executive – B2B Healthcare & Infection Prevention Solutions
Partnering with a science and technology-driven company dedicated to improving human health safety through innovation, education, and integrated solutions, we’re scaling our healthcare hygiene and infection prevention capabilities globally.
We’re seeking a motivated, credential-driven medical sales expert, ideally early in their career, with the clinical and commercial acumen typical of healthcare sales professionals. Think commercially sharp, well-versed in engaging with clinical stakeholders, and driven by lasting relationships over transactional wins.
This isn’t standard pharma sales. You’ll partner with NHS trusts, hospitals, and healthcare providers, navigating complex procurement landscapes to position, trial, and implement our infection prevention and control solutions. The role offers direct impact, from shaping accounts through to tender submissions and margin strategy, giving you full commercial exposure from day one. If you thrive in a consultative sales environment and crave a career at the intersection of health tech and commercial leadership, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Territory and Business Growth
- Territory development: Own and grow a designated geographic market, expanding current and new business across NHS and independent healthcare settings.
- Stakeholder engagement: Act as a trusted consultant with domestic managers, infection control professionals, health & safety officers, and procurement leads to position solutions effectively.
- Procurement navigation: Guiding the company through NHS tender and procurement processes to ensure long-term product listings.
- Strategic opportunity spotting: Analyse territory data, frameworks, and competitor activity to spot new opportunities.
- Customised selling: Deliver evidence-based presentations tailored to clinical teams and purchasing decision-makers.
- Outreach: Drive engagement via calls, emails, face-to-face meetings, and account presentations.
- Account management:
- Cultivate long-term trusted relationships as a strategic business partner, not a supplier.
- Full account lifecycle ownership: Onboarding → renewals → upsell with high customer satisfaction.
- Query resolution: Address technical and commercial inquiries professionally, escalating where necessary.
- CRM mastery: Maintain accurate account records, call notes, and pipeline data for future strategies.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
