Sales Executive
Sales Executive (OT Cybersecurity & Software Solutions)
ROLE OVERVIEW
Tekgem UK Limited is seeking a driven and commercially minded Sales Executive to support the growth of our Operational Technology (OT) and cybersecurity services, as well as the expansion of our proprietary software solutions: Shield, Shield Transfer, and Unity.
This is a multi-focused sales role, where the successful candidate will:
- Sell engineering and consultancy services
- Market software-based products
- Apply a blend of relationship-led consultative selling and solution-based positioning, with a focus on critical infrastructure and industrial sectors
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – ENGINEERING & CONSULTING
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for OT engineering, cybersecurity, and consulting services
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across sectors such as:
- Energy
- Utilities
- Manufacturing
- COMAH environments
- Lead the full sales lifecycle, including:
- Prospecting
- Engagement
- Proposal development
- Negotiation & closure
- Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with client needs, meeting standards such as:
- IEC 62443
- NIS
- Support account growth within existing customers

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – SOFTWARE PLATFORMS
- Drive adoption and revenue growth of Shield, Shield Transfer, and Unity platforms
- Articulate product value, highlighting:
- Scalability
- Compliance
- Operational efficiency benefits
- Deliver technical product demonstrations alongside relevant teams
- Develop go-to-market strategies and grow recurring revenue streams
- Capture customer and market feedback to support ongoing product development
(Note: Duplicate responsibility regarding software from earlier section has been consolidated.)
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Required
- Strong commercial acumen & customer focus
- Ability to balance short-term sales targets with long-term relationship building
- Comfortability in technical environments
- Effective organisation & collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive as a team player
Desirable
- Experience in selling software platforms (SaaS or licensed solutions)
- Understanding of OT cybersecurity frameworks such as:
- IEC 62443
- NIS/NIS2
- Network within critical infrastructure sectors
- Background in industrial, cybersecurity, or engineering environments preferred
