Woodfloors4u is a dynamic and fast-growing business based in Ilford, IG6. As one of the UK’s largest distributors of wood flooring, we are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Sales Consultant to join our expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on building strong client relationships, generating new business, and working within a supportive, close-knit team where communication and collaboration are highly valued.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and confidence in both outbound sales and account management. You will play a key role in developing new business opportunities while also providing exceptional service to existing clients throughout the full sales cycle.
Previous experience within the wood flooring industry would be advantageous; however, proven B2B sales and customer service experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to maintain a positive and customer-focused environment
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound calls and lead generation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Manage customer enquiries, quotations, orders, and the full sales process efficiently
- Maintain excellent product knowledge and ensure high standards of product presentation and merchandising
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline of prospective and existing clients
- Follow up on invoices, quotations and specifications where required
- Provide exceptional after-sales support to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
- Research and recommend suitable products and solutions based on customer requirements
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity and market developments
- Assist in creating reports and maintaining accurate customer records
- Utilise social media platforms to help generate leads and increase brand presence

Skills & Experience Required
- Previous B2B sales and customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong telephone manner and confidence in generating new business
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive team player with a proactive attitude
- Experience within the wood flooring industry is desirable but not essential
