Introduction to Wild by Tart
Wild by Tart is a much-loved neighbourhood restaurant, bar, events venue, photography studio and retail store housed within a beautifully restored 9,000 sq. ft former power station and coal store in Belgravia.
Our events business is a key part of who we are, hosting everything from intimate private dinners and fashion press events to product launches, weddings, celebrations, conferences and external catering. We pride ourselves on restaurant-quality food, warm hospitality and creating memorable experiences.
About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven Events Sales Executive/Manager to further grow our events & catering business by building relationships, generating new business and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
This is a proactive sales role suited to someone who enjoys networking, developing partnerships and creating opportunities. Working alongside the Head of Sales & Events and the wider Events team, you will be responsible for driving revenue across the restaurant, private dining spaces, TART Studio and external catering.

Business Development & Sales
- Proactively generate new business across corporate events, private celebrations, weddings, brand activations and catering.
- Build relationships with corporate clients, venue finders, agencies, PAs, EAs, wedding planners and local businesses.
- Develop outbound sales activity through networking, LinkedIn, email campaigns, referrals and industry events.
- Conduct venue show-rounds and client meetings.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve agreed enquiry, conversion and revenue targets.
- Identify repeat business and reactivate previous clients.
Enquiry Management & Conversion
- Respond promptly to all enquiries in line with TART standards.
- Prepare tailored proposals and quotations.
- Manage negotiations and follow-up activity to maximise conversion.
- Manage contracts, deposits and booking documentation.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Work with Head of Sales & Events Marketing to support campaigns and generate qualified leads.
- Representing TART at networking events and showcases.
- Maintain knowledge of hospitality and events trends.

Relationship Management
- Build long-term client relationships.
- Undertake post-event follow-up to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Act as an ambassador for the Wild by Tart brand.
Finance & Reporting
- Prepare weekly sales reports and pipeline updates.
- Work to agreed budgets and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM and booking records.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum three years' experience in hospitality, venue sales, events sales or business development.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and sales mindset.
- Confident networking and presenting to clients.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive and results-driven.
- Passion for hospitality, food and people.
Salary
from £34k (inc Tronc) DOE
