Role Description

This full-time, on-site Sales Executive (Automotive) role is based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Sales Executive will engage with customers in the showroom and via phone or digital channels, identifying their needs, presenting suitable vehicles, and guiding them through the sales process from initial enquiry to handover. The role involves maintaining product knowledge, following up leads, managing a personal sales pipeline, and meeting individual and team sales and customer satisfaction targets. The Sales Executive will also collaborate closely with colleagues in finance, administration, and aftersales to provide a seamless customer experience and encourage repeat business.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automotive or retail sales, with strong customer-facing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport, listen effectively, and communicate clearly in person, by phone, and in writing.
  • Comfortable working to targets and deadlines, with sound commercial awareness and attention to detail.
  • Competence in using dealership systems, CRM tools, and basic office software to manage leads and records.
  • Valid UK driving licence and a strong interest in cars, vehicle features, and market trends.
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a proactive approach to following up enquiries and leads.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends and peak trading periods, as required.
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry or a sales-related qualification is advantageous.
