If you love the thrill of the phone, the buzz of hitting target, and the satisfaction of building something from a cold list to a full pipeline, this is built for you.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll do

  • Sell paid delegate passes to senior professionals across the tech industry
  • Run high-volume outbound campaigns, qualify decision-makers, and turn conversations into bookings
  • Build and manage your own pipeline — chasing inbound enquiries, re-engaging lapsed customers, and converting marketing leads
  • Become a trusted point of contact for attendees, spotting upsell and cross-sell opportunities along the way
  • Feed market intelligence and customer feedback back into the business to shape future events
  • Work closely with marketing and production teams, sharpening your pitch as event agendas and speaker line-ups evolve

You'll thrive here if you're

  • Confident on the phone and quick on your feet with objections
  • A natural closer with a competitive streak and a genuine appetite for hitting (and beating) targets
  • Organised and disciplined — you won't let a lead go cold
  • Experienced with a CRM system (Salesforce ideal)
  • Coming from 6–18 months in telesales, delegate sales, event sales, recruitment or media sales
  • A bonus if you've got exposure to the tech events space — but attitude matters more than sector background
