We’re excited to announce the opening of our brand-new BYD showroom and are looking for a driven and customer-focused Sales Executive to join the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-growing electric vehicle brand at the forefront of innovation.

As a Sales Executive, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales performance. You’ll be responsible for guiding customers through the full sales journey, from initial enquiry to vehicle handover, ensuring every interaction reflects the quality and innovation of the BYD brand.

Salary: £20,000 per annum basic, plus commission

Hours: Alternating weeks:

  • Week 1, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 6.00 pm with Saturday off.
  • Week 2, Monday to Saturday, 9.00 am to 6.00 pm with one day off in the week

I.e. average of 42 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid).

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers both in the showroom and digitally, building strong relationships.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable BYD vehicles and finance options.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BYD products, features, and electric vehicle technology.
  • Manage leads effectively using CRM systems.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • Support showroom presentation and promotional events.

Ideally, we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in automotive or retail sales.
  • A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and enthusiastic.
  • Passion for electric vehicles and emerging technologies.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
