About the Role
We are seeking an **ambitious and experienced Sales Executive to join our passionate sales team at Tyneside Audi. This opportunity allows you to specialise in either new car or used car sales.
As a key part of our sales team, you will:
- Provide exceptional customer service through face-to-face, telephone, and email communications.
- Build meaningful relationships with customers to understand their requirements and suggest the best-suited vehicles.
- Guarantee a positive and rewarding customer experience right from promotion to aftercare.
The Deal
- Contract type: Permanent, full time
- Salary: OTE up to £50,000 per annum (including a £25,000 basic salary + uncapped commission) with an included company car
- Hours: 44 hours/week
- Weekdays: Monday–Friday: 08:30–18:00
- Weekends: Saturday: 09:00–17:00, Sunday: 11:00–15:00 (Rotated day off within the week and weekend shifts)
Key Responsibilities
Your role will entail:
- Customer engagement: Communicating via email, telephone, and in-person interactions.
- Sales process:
- Recommend suitable vehicles that align with customers’ preferences.
- Arrange and accompany test drives to build customer confidence.
- Negotiate final prices to achieve agreeable deals.
- Handle all necessary paperwork for completed sales efficiently.
- Interdepartmental coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with all dealership teams to deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements
- A self-motivated, proactive attitude with a drive for results and a strong work ethic.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers and colleagues effectively.
- A passion for the automotive industry – once you find your meeting ground initiating connections is easier.
- A full UK driving licence for the opportunity to drive premier vehicles in our fleet.
While previous experience in sales or the motor trade is beneficial, we actively encourage applicants with fresh talent willing to develop here with us.
