About the Role

Job Title: Dynamic Sales Executive (Energy Team)

Reports to: Becky Barton, Sales Supervisor

We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our fast-growing Energy Team here at Radius.


Responsibilities

  • Convert sales opportunities while proactively generating new business through:
    • Divisional referrals
    • Customer data enrichment
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records and effective CRM pipeline management to support:
    • Forecasting
    • Business reporting
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales and performance targets
  • Identify and refer opportunities across other Radius Business Units, supporting group growth
  • Demonstrate a proactive, self-motivated approach, including:
    • Managing workload and priorities independently
  • Work collaboratively as part of the wider sales team, contributing to a high-performance culture and sharing best practice
  • Adhere to company policies and procedural frameworks, including:
    • Equal Opportunities
    • Diversity, Inclusion, and Anti-Harassment policies
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 12 months’ experience in a B2B sales role, preferably within the Irish or UK energy market
  • Previous experience selling electricity, gas, utilities, or other regulated commercial services (highly desirable)
  • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment, such as in telecoms, utilities, insurance, financial services, or business services
  • Strong track record of consistently achieving (or exceeding) sales targets, KPIs, and objectives
  • Ability to generate self-sourced business via prospecting, networking, referrals, and customer research
  • Comfort with a highly target-driven environment, requiring resilience, adaptability, and resilience under pressure
  • Strong commercial awareness, with ability to:
    • Identify customer needs
    • Articulate value
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline using a CRM platform (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly:
    • Excel
    • Outlook
    • Teams
  • Ability to collaborate effectively while taking ownership of individual results
