Sales Executive – Data & Analytics

Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + Benefits

Location: Hybrid, London 1-2 days on site

A leading data and analytics consultancy is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join its growing commercial team. The organisation specialises in delivering modern cloud-based data platforms, business intelligence, analytics, and DataOps solutions that help enterprises unlock value from their data.

This is an opportunity to work with innovative technologies including Snowflake and cloud-native architectures, partnering with clients across complex digital transformation and data modernisation programmes.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and shaping data and analytics solutions for enterprise customers. You will work closely with account teams, pre-sales consultants, and delivery specialists to identify opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and manage the full sales lifecycle from qualification through to deal closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop target accounts and new business opportunities
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline focused on data, analytics, and cloud solutions
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to create client-focused propositions
  • Lead client meetings and discovery sessions with business and IT stakeholders
  • Understand and interpret client requirements across data warehousing, BI, reporting, and analytics
  • Present solutions and recommendations to both technical and executive-level audiences
  • Support RFP responses and proposal development
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and manage deal progression
  • Coordinate internal solution and deal review processes
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Proven experience in enterprise technology sales, ideally within data, analytics, or cloud solutions
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, BI, reporting, and analytics technologies
  • Experience with cloud-based architectures and modern data platforms
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong commercial negotiation and deal-closing skills
  • Experience working within consulting or systems integration environments
  • Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior business and technology leaders, including CIO/CXO level
