Sales Executive – Timber & Fencing Products
Key Responsibilities
- Building solid relationships, growing spend for current customers and proactively seeking out new business.
- Strong focus on fencing sector, building our sales of domestic & agricultural fencing.
- Help to exceed branch Sales, Margins and Gross profit.
- Be aware of local merchants and products to ensure we are competitive.
- Respond positively and effectively to customer’s needs and ensure our customer's are looked after.
- Agree the best possible margin when negotiating with customers.
- Deal with customer complaints effectively, pleasantly and in a timely manner.
- Be vigilant and report any Health & Safety issues to the Line Manager immediately.

Required Experience & Skills
- Previous sales experience with fencing & timber (essential).
- Live within a commutable distance from SO32 2JR (Office based role).
- Demonstrate a positive & friendly attitude.
- Is prepared to develop a knowledge of the company and products.
- Someone who will promote and adhere to the company’s cultures, values and professionalism.
- Good communication skills (both oral and written), confident and able to approach customers.
- Ability to prioritise responsibilities under pressure and be self-motivated.
- Confidence to call existing and prospective customers.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good IT Skills (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Hours of work
- Monday to Friday 07.30am - 16.30pm.
- Every 4th Saturday 08.00am - 12.00pm.
