Sales Executive – First Business Finance

Contract Type: Full Time Location: Office-Based (The Historic Dockyard, Chatham & London)


Overview

First Business Finance is a dynamic commercial finance brokerage helping businesses across the UK secure funding solutions, including:

  • Asset finance
  • Business loans
  • Refinance opportunities
  • Working capital facilities

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Sales Executive to join our team – based in our Kent office – to generate new business, foster client relationships, and aid the continued growth of the company.

This is a full-time, office-based role ideal for those with minimum 3 years’ sales experience, strong commercial acumen, and an unparalleled drive to maximise earning potential.


Key Responsibilities

Key duties include but are not limited to:

  • New Business Development

    • Generate and nurture leads across multiple industry sectors
    • Identify client funding needs and tailor appropriate finance solutions
  • Client & Relationship Management

    • Build trust with prospective and existing clients
    • Maintain strong introducer and partner relationships

  • Sales & Outbound Activity

    • Conduct outbound calls, ensure diligent follow-ups, and manage lead pipelines
    • Ignite conversations, qualify leads, and convert opportunities
  • Collaborative Support

    • Work closely with Directors and internal teams to progress deals
    • Update CRM systems with accurate pipeline data
  • Representation & Business Growth

    • Represent the business professionally in calls, meetings, and networking opportunities
    • Expand network visibility through LinkedIn and other digital channels
  • Target Achievement

    • Support attainment of individual and team sales targets

Skills & Experience Required

Ideal candidates possess:

  • 3+ years in sales (finance or commercial experience advantageous but not mandatory)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly developed telephone manner – confident and professional
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and data-driven with proven track record
  • Commercial intuition with ability to spot opportunities
  • Proficiency in CRM systems & Microsoft Office
