The Role of the Sales Executive

- Sell the manufacturer's range of new and used car products, meeting agreed sales volumes.
- Follow precisely and consistently the manufacturer sales process, including enquiry management targets.
- Understand manufacturer mystery shopping criteria and apply this knowledge when dealing with customers.
- Ensure the showroom, displays, customer information, sales activities, vehicle documentation, and other relevant information are kept and maintained accurately and comprehensively to manufacturer standards, including the display of manufacturer vehicles.
- Prospect for new and used car customers regularly using various sources to create sales opportunities. Maintain regular contact via an effective follow-up process with all new and existing customers to retain relationships for repeat business.
- Actively convey customer-first culture by adhering to TCF (Trust, Customer, Fairness) principles at all times.
- Maximise sales opportunities by offering finance solutions to customers while adhering strictly to FCA guidelines, particularly in portraying financial information and regulated activities.
- Co-ordinate the preparation and handover of sold vehicles to customers, ensuring customers receive a detailed briefing on vehicle operation, controls, and introduction to the aftersales department.
- Participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximise sales penetration, and fully engage in both on- and off-site promotions run by the department.
- Carry out accurate appraisals for all vehicles offered as part-exchange.

Skills & Requirements
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Smart appearance. -Skillset in numeracy, literacy, and IT.
Desirable:
- Relevant product knowledge.
- Motor industry experience (preferably from the main dealer network).
