Sales Executive

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: £Negotiable

Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week

Reference: STEELSALES-M-DB

If so, I want to hear from you! Our client, a leading name in the metals sector, is looking for a motivated and proactive Sales Executive to join their team in Manchester.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts, providing exceptional service.
  • Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate and competitive pricing while maintaining profitable margins.
  • Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activity, feeding valuable insights back to support strategy.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the metals industry (stockholding, processing, or related services).
  • Track record of both account management and new business generation.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
  • Resilient, driven, and adaptable approach to sales.

Package Details:

  • Salary negotiable depending on level of experience
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holiday
  • Annual bonus
  • Pension matched up to 7.5%
  • 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, start/finish times flexible.
