Sales Executive (PBSA/BTR)

Sales Executive (PBSA/BTR)

Location: Sheffield City Centre (office-based, hybrid, or remote) Salary: £24,500 plus commission (OTE: £35,000)

About the Role

Are you a confident, persuasive Sales Executive who thrives on building relationships and closing deals? Our fast-growing Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) / Build to Rent (BTR) team is expanding, and we’re looking for someone passionate about converting student demand into bookings.

This high-energy role will see you spend your days speaking to students via phone, email, and WhatsApp, driving momentum to secure bookings. With no cold calling required, you’ll focus on following up warm student enquiries, quickly building rapport, and progressing conversations to confirmed bookings.

Reporting directly to the Head of New Business (PBSA/BTR), you’ll join a small but dynamic team (currently four people) at an exciting stage of growth. Your mission? Convert enquiries into bookings while delivering exceptional customer experiences—with just occasional admin support to the wider PBSA operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow-up & Conversion: Promptly engage with warm student enquiries, build rapport swiftly, and guide conversations to confirmed bookings.
  • High-Volume Sales: Handle calls, emails, and WhatsApp messages efficiently, staying organised and maintaining quality under pressure.
  • Student Support: Act as a trusted point of contact, providing accurate property details and assisting with operator-specific booking processes.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with PBSA operators and internal teams to ensure smooth bookings and resolve issues proactively.
  • Site Visits (Occasional): Attend PBSA locations or operator sites to deepen product knowledge and build relationships.
  • Admin & Reporting: Occasional support for listing accuracy, CRM management (Salesforce), and internal reporting.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify issues early, escalate as needed, and keep students informed to maintain a seamless booking journey.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
